Gantt Critical Path

You can now highlight the critical path in your Gantt charts.

While every item in your project Gantt chart holds significance, only certain items are deemed critical. The critical path consists of a chain of interdependent items that directly influence the project completion date. If any item on this path is delayed, the entire project timeline is affected. This new feature highlights the items in your Gantt chart that are on this critical path.

Highlight the Critical Path

To highlight the critical path in the Gantt chart, simply open the relevant project grid or portfolio Gantt chart and toggle highlight critical paths on. To turn off the critical path highlighting, simply untick the toggle:

Once on, each item row, item bar and dependency indicator in the Gantt chart, that is on the critical path, will be highlighted red:
