NEW FEATURE: Element auto-save

In this week’s upgrade release we bring you another feature that many have asked for: element auto-saving.

One of the minor irritations experienced by methodology builders is the need to “tick out” (save) elements. Occasionally, an errant click outside of the element builder would result in losing all the content and having to start again. This is super frustrating. Trust us – we know it – as we are always building out new grids also.

As such, like with grid development, we were asked by many of you to switch this to an auto-save logic. Now you will notice at periodic (c. 15s)  intervals, your element saving down current changes – see the saving>saved device in the top right corner.

When you close “X” out of your element builder, a final save takes place.

So, no need to save/tick out and no need to worry about an errant click outside the builder window losing all your work.

Another step forward in the ongoing development of the platform.

Please keep all suggestions for ongoing improvements coming … some major new features to follow.

On on!
