NEW FEATURE: Method Grid accounts

Method Grid accounts

Announcing another important update to your Method Grid platform

From the earliest stage in the (private) beta testing, it became clear that there was a lot of confusion with respect to the (third) “domain” field on login. Even the language was confusing/technical. What were we thinking – we had, unnecessarily, really made things more difficult for our users than they needed to be.

This change completely removes that additional complication. You can still have multiple accounts (yes, a far better word than “domain”!) but now you just need to provide your email and password to enter.

If you happen to have used the same email address and password for multiple accounts (not something we would necessarily recommend from a security perspective) then you can simply choose which account to work on. The new feature also enables you to easily switch between accounts in app when this is the case (see screenshot below).

We hope you see this as another positive development.

Coming next …

We are working hard to launch BETA v3 – with a whole raft of new features including company bespoke branding and grid and element labelling. This launch will be concurrent with a new ‘front end’ website as we seek to open up the private beta group (c. 50 organisations now) to a wider testing/feedback group. We aim to have this new release out to you within the coming weeks.

Please keep all feedback (we love hearing about the wider uses you are putting Method Grid to) and ideas for future improvements/enhancements coming!

Is there a feature you would love to see us add to our development stack? If so, please let us know in the comments below or contact us here.
