New Grid Statuses

Grid Statuses

You can now apply a status of not started, in progress, on hold, complete or cancelled to your grids. These new statuses are also now available in your grids dashboard.

In this latest feature release we have added five new grid statuses. These are quick and easy to apply, providing a new level of project overview and controls. Watch the video below or keep reading to learn more …

Setting A Grid Status

Team members with view access can change the status of the grid if it is either unassigned or assigned to them, they cannot change the status if the grid is assigned to another team member.. Members with edit or manage access can assign a status to the grid irrespective of whether it is  assigned to another team member.

A grid can have a status of:

  • Not started (this is the default and all new grids will be added with this status)
  • In progress
  • On hold
  • Complete
  • Cancelled

You can set the grid status in folders when viewing a list of grids …

Grid Dashboard Updates

We have also updated your grids dashboard to include the new grid statuses. This update includes some key changes to the layout of the filters within this dashboard, these are detailed below.

Please note that all your existing filter bookmarks will continue to work as before.

Grid Status

You can now filter the dashboard by grid status

  • Not started
  • In progress
  • On hold
  • Complete
  • Cancelled

The default for this filter has not started, in progress and on hold toggled on (grids on these statuses are “open”). Complete and cancelled are toggled off (grids on these statuses are “closed”).

Grid Due Date

The due date column now also contains your overdue grids and it includes two new filters:

  • Overdue – toggles whether to include overdue grids in your filter (this is toggled on by default)
  • No due date – toggles whether to include grids with no due date in your filter (this is toggled on by default)

The existing from/to due date filter is unchanged.

The grid RAG rating filter remains, but has had the complete status migrated to the new grid status of complete. You can filter your grid RAG ratings by:

  • Red

All four are toggled on by default.

You can continue to sort the order of the grids in your dashboard as before. Each filter includes an ascending and descending filter to sort the order of your grids by the selected column.
