Text Editor Tables and Improved Copy/Paste

In our latest feature update we have added tables to your text editor so you can now create and paste tables into any text area in your grid elements. We have also improved the copy/paste functionality of the editor so that your formatting is preserved when you paste into the text editor.

Tables

You can use the table button in the text editor to create and edit your tables. You can select the number of rows and columns before inserting your table. Once created, you can edit your table using the same button which includes common table editing tools such as insert row, insert column, delete etc. Don’t forget you can toggle the editor into full screen mode for easier editing.

You can also copy/paste tables from Excel, websites etc. into the text editor to quickly create tables.

Copy/Paste

When you copy/paste text or tables into the text editor it will now preserve supported text formatting (bulleted lists, numbered lists, formatting etc.) and links.

If you want to clear the formatting from text, you can highlight the text and use the clear formatting button.

To copy/paste with no formatting, you can toggle on the paste as text button and all text formatting will be cleared when you paste into the text area.
