The Method Grid search feature has been expanded to include all the content and comments within your stage gates.
When you search Method Grid, you will see results from all the various knowledge areas across Method Grid. This has now been expanded to include the content and comments within your stage gates:
Searching for Stage Gates
Stage gate name/title results are shown in the stage gates category section. You can show/hide the stage gates section by ticking and unticking stage gates in the show menu.
Searching for Stage Gate Content and Comments
As well as surfacing stage gate title results, all the existing search categories now include results from your stage gates, specifically:
Tasks – now searches for tasks in elements and stage gates
Content areas – now searches the description text of content areas in elements and stage gates
Files – now searches file names in elements and stage gates
Comments – now searches for comments in grids, elements, stage gates and tasks (in elements and stage gates)
In these categories, each result has a breadcrumb that details the location of the result e.g. folder name > grid name > stage gate or element name > content area name. To help you differentiate between element and stage gate results, each has it’s own unique icon; an element icon for elements and the diamond icon for stage gates.
Searching Method Grid
The knowledge within your organisation is only useful if your team can find it, make sense of it and use it in a timely manner. Method Grid is the key to improving this efficiency of understanding. You can learn more about searching in Method Grid here.
